JOB TITLE: Fleet Mechanic

JOB CLASS: Hourly, Full Time

JOB HOURS: 40 Hour Week, Typically M-F 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with possible variations to accommodate specific project requirements.  Occasional overtime and weekend work as required.

SALARY RANGE: $ 28.00 hr. to $35.00 hr.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ability to perform maintenance and repair on a variety of equipment such as Trucks, Aerial Equipment, Cranes, Trenchers, Backhoes and Loaders.
• Maintain oil changes, batteries, timing belt replacement, brakes, brake pads etc.
• May work in multiple locations from Marietta to Newnan, GA

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:

• Technical abilities.
• Detail oriented.
• Problem solving abilities.
• Able to work quickly under pressure.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and the public.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES:

• Must possess and maintain valid driver’s license.  CDL is preferred.
• Must be insurable.
• ASE certified preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds.
